the instructors
Jason has a B.A. and an M.F.A in the entertainment industry as well as more than 13 years experience on stage, in film and television. He has been helping young and eager men and women get into the stunt business since 1997. He has appeared in many films including The Chronicles of Narnia, Zombieland, and to be released in 2010, Life As We Know It.
He was a founding character in the world tour of The World Premier Musical Zorro, and even doubled the famous Ron Jeremy in a horror feature called Andre The Butcher. In addition to Fire and Ice Entertainment, he is co-founder of Biscuits & Gravy Productions in Los Angeles. There is nothing that fuels his passion for this business more than teaching and that is why he has dedicated himself to helping newcomers get into this extremely tough industry.
Daniel Ford Beavis has been a professional stunt performer since 1996. Over the years Daniel has worked on dozens of productions, from stage to television to film. His credits include dodging flaming reindeer in Just Friends, getting tackled through glass over a cliff in Android Apocolypse, and coordinated episodes of the Canadian series, Rabbit Fall, Little Mosque on the Prairie, Moccasin Flat and Renegadepress.com.
Stunts has been a passion of Daniel for many years, but his true calling is teaching. He has taught at the University of Saskatchewan, The Banff Centre for the Arts, the International Stunt School as well as a variety of workshops in Montreal, Los Angeles, Atlanta among others. Daniel has literally lit hundreds of stunt performers on fire, made students do thousands of high falls, helped administer untold numbers of face punches and groin kicks, engineered numerous stabs with knives and swords, and kept every one of them safe as they did it.
